Some people say “You are what you eat.” We think it is equally as important what you wear. Psychologists agree we us that clothing choices reflect self-image and are an important part of building up our self-esteem.
Here are a couple of examples to think about. Have you ever put on a shirt or sweater that was made from such a scratchy material, which made you so uncomfortable, that you had to take it off? Ever put on a tie that made you feel like you were choking? Women who wear high heels must have at one point felt like they were had medieval torture devices on their feet.
The opposite is also true. Do you have a favorite t-shirt that you wore until it had holes in it? or maybe an old pair of jeans? How about a favorite lucky baseball cap?
